Welcome to My Equine Journey!

I’m Annie and I am a passionate equestrian who has been enamored with horses for as long as I can remember. I usually say that I’m a crazy horse person who believes in unicorns. My love for these magnificent animals began in childhood while I eagerly listened to show jumping competitions at Spruce Meadows on my small TV screen.

At the age of nine, I managed to persuade my mother to let me start riding, and that was the beginning of an incredible journey. From that moment, I realized that horses would always be a significant part of my life.

At eleven years old, I got my first pony, with whom I shared a meaningful partnership that lasted ten years. That relationship shaped my vision of what a horse–human partnership can be: built on time, trust, patience, LOVE and mutual respect.

While studying veterinary medicine, I purchased Sky, a 5 years oldThoroughbred mare who had just finished her racing career in New York State. I share a special bond with Sky because she was my partner for so much of my life experiences! Her daughter, Dynamite, my very first homebred foal was a gift to myself for my 25th birthday. This is when my breeding experience began, already more than 10 years ago.

Over the years, I have immersed myself in the world of horsemanship, learning everything from horse care and nutrition to training young foals. 

During the pandemic, my partner and I took a leap of faith and purchased a farm in a small city in the middle of nowhere, where we are dedicated to creating a vibrant place where our cattle, horses and dogs are living their best life! I love my horses so much that I think they are giving me back this love by teaching me how to be a better person each day.
