Dreaming is soooo fun!
I bought this filly in utero last winter, just a little after Christmas (that was my excuse—I hadn’t bought myself a Christmas present yet!). When I saw the pedigree of this in-utero filly advertised by her breeder, I didn’t understand why they were selling her. I wanted to buy her on the spot, but I was very reasonable and thought about it for a whole week and talked about it with my boyfriend (who didn’t want me to buy her… poor guy, he knows I’m crazy! Lol).
I’m not usually a big fan of tobiano warmbloods (mostly because they’re a lot of work to keep clean lol), but I would never stop myself from getting a unicorn just because of the color. Anyways, I had a 50% chance of getting a tobiano and a 50% chance of getting a bay filly, and the mare had already produced two bay foals before her, so I was hopeful.
She finally arrived two months later and looked amazing (I decided that now that I have one, I actually like tobiano warmbloods lol). She is a stunning filly with amazing gaits and a very smart mind. The Belgian Warmblood judge really liked her as well, and she finished 3rd overall among all the North American fillies inspected during the 2025 season.
Sometimes we can be proud of our crazy choices.
With a lot of blood from Diamant de Semilly, this incredible stallion who has been among the top jumping sires in the world year after year, she is a little daughter of a legend. I can’t wait to see what she has in her when we start going into the show ring :D
I also plan to do embryo transfer with her, but I can’t make up my mind about which stallion to choose for her—there are just too many amazing crosses I could do!!!
It looks like I’m always dreaming!
